About the position

As an alarm technician at Säkerhetsgruppen, you will work with installations, commissioning, and service primarily for Securitas Direct's systems, but also other systems. Your tasks will include planning, cable laying, installations, commissioning, functionality testing, and documentation.

The work is varied with corporate clients from many different industries and tasks of varying nature. The position offers both independent tasks and assignments together with your colleagues.

We offer alarms and alarm solutions for many different situations, such as burglary alarms, personal protection alarms, assault alarms, fire warning systems, operational alarms, and object protection. We also provide complete solutions for video surveillance and access control.

We primarily target businesses, but also private individuals who have high demands for security installations. The foundation of our alarms, burglary alarms, and security systems is high-tech quality with fast and secure connections. With our own around-the-clock staffed alarm center, we become a very strong organization with local presence for quick and secure interventions.

Who are we looking for?

• You have relevant technical education at least at the high school level in areas such as low voltage/security or as an electrician.
• Since close and daily contact with our customers is an important part of your daily work, you need to have a friendly, professional demeanor characterized by high quality.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience in our industry. Perhaps you have worked with alarm installations before or have experience in other areas such as cameras or fire and evacuation alarms and want to develop with us.
• You are comfortable with technology and enjoy showing initiative and learning new things.
• You also look forward to a flexible job where you get to meet many new customers in our region.

As you will be working with security-classified objects, we will need to obtain a criminal record extract.

Swedish citizenship and a B driver's license are required.
